Checkered Days

I promise I won’t talk about the weather today. Even though it’s. Still. Cold. Oh well, it’s supposed to warm up this weekend – at least for a couple of days. I pushed it a little today and ventured out without tights, or even socks. Luckily I didn’t have to be outside for any length of time.

I’ve always liked black and red together and today’s outfit just felt good. The pearls and statement necklace added a little jazz to an otherwise plain outfit and the booties – well I just love them.

Mossimo oxblood cropped pants: Target
Nine West black booties: DSW
Red statement necklace: Sample Sale
Pearl strands: Claire’s accessories

I did it again…

Yes, I did. I wore these pants twice in one week. When I like something I try to find multiple ways to wear it. These pants are no exception. I’ll be finding many more ways to wear these awesome pants in the weeks to come. I’m looking forward to the challenge!
