Style Savvy DFW

Affordable Fashion for Every Day

Not so fast

I knew I was jumping the gun when I started putting my summer clothes away for the season. In the brief moment we actually had a semi cool day I couldn’t wait to put on a lightweight sweater. And added a scarf. It was perfect for that particular day, but since then we’ve been back in the 90s and will be for a few more days. Oh Texas. You know how to frustrate a girl. On the other hand, we did get to waterski last week. First time I’ve ever skied in October. And the water was actually warm!

My singing partner and I have just released a promo video for Blue Moon Martini. If you have a moment, please check it out here:

Today’s Outfit:

Light brown cotton sweater: Old Navy (Recent)
Denim leggings: GAP (last season)
Tahari peep-toe pumps: DSW (Recent – on clearance)
Scarf: Target

Have a lovely, healthy day!

If you have a minute, would you swing on over and check out my music site? I’ve added a video and updated the gig calendar with new dates for 2015

  1. Nice outfit! Love the scarf! Happy to now know what the DFW in your blog name means. Hoping it cools down soon so you can wear more of your cute fall clothes!

  2. Love love love the outfit (great colors)! Just watched your promo clip. Fantastic. For all your other readers, the clip can be found by scrolling down to the very bottom of the ReverbNation web page (it’s below the comments section).
