Style Savvy DFW

Affordable Fashion for Every Day

The next couple of week are going to be crazy. We start technical rehearsals for “Little Women” Friday night and dress rehearsals Sunday. This means late nights and early mornings, but I’m having the time of my life so I’m loving it!

If you’ve been with me very long you know I love to wear jeans. But summer in Texas is just too hot for much denim, so this skirt is a great alternative. I bought it at the Old Navy Outlet last summer and proven to be a great addition to my wardrobe. I love that it’s just the right length, and the denim isn’t terribly heavy. I wear it year round, so I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth!

Today’s Outfit:

Denim skirt: Old Navy (last summer)
Merona red T-shirt: Target
Blue suede sandals: DSW (2 years ago)

**Some of you have asked about LYDesigns jewelry. It’s actually Lori Yeary Designs. A few years ago I had a jewelry design business, but I mainly just make jewelry for my own amusement/amazement now. I do some custom work for weddings, but it’s not really a “business” anymore. If you are interested in a custom piece, let me know and we’ll chat. I might just come out of retirement!

Have a lovely, healthy day!

I love the look of a cute denim skirt with a red top. It is comfortable, but a notch up from casual. Cute!
