Affordable Fashion for Every Day

NYC Style

I love this dress. On my last day in NYC I decided to stop into the Old Navy on my way to the airport. You never know what you’ll find in different locations of your favorite store. AH (Awesome Husband) doesn’t really believe me, but I swear it’s true. The selections at my local LOFT, Old Navy, even Target are quite different that what I find in other stores around the country. I haven’t seen these dresses in the stores in my area, and in fact couldn’t even find them online. Weird. But lucky for me since I ended up buying three of them. Well, they were only $15.00. How could I not?

Today’s Outfit:

Striped knit swing dress: Old Navy
Kelly & Katie turquoise wedge sandals: DSW
Jewelry: LYDesigns**

**Some of you have asked about LYDesigns jewelry. It’s actually Lori Yeary Designs. A few years ago I had a jewelry design business, but I mainly just make jewelry for my own amusement/amazement now. I do some custom work for weddings, but it’s not really a “business” anymore. If you are interested in a custom piece, let me know and we’ll chat. I might just come out of retirement!

Have a lovely, healthy day!

If you have a minute, would you swing on over and check out my music site? I’ve added a video and updated the gig calendar with new dates for 2015

I love the dress, and you are so right about stores!!! I see a huge difference between the stores in Pa., where I live, to the ones in Md., just 25 minutes away!!

That’s an interesting observation about differences between stores in diffferent parts of the country. I’m going to southwest FL in a couple of weeks and look forward to seeing different merchandise from what I find here in Northern Virgina. Love your necklace.
