Style Savvy DFW

Affordable Fashion for Every Day

I want to talk about stripes today (and about thinking outside the proverbial box, in general). Striped T-shirts are much more versatile than I ever imagined. Like a lot of people, I sometimes think too narrowly. I’m enjoying stretching myself – and you are part of the reason. When I started this blog I was pretty comfortable in thinking I could easily put together a different outfit every day. Not so. Writing and posting every weekday has been more challenging than I ever imagined, but I love every minute of it.

This striped t-shirt from H&M has been a true foundational item this winter – as evidenced by the multiple ways I’ve been able to wear it. Whether paired with a scarf or sweater, it adds a little variety to the normal jeans/sweater/boots combination. And I have a few more ideas up my sleeve…

Today’s Outfit:

Striped long sleeve tshirt: H&M USA
Jordache skinny jeans: Walmart
Jordache grey skinny jeans: Walmart
Nine West black booties: DSW
Anne Klein grey booties: DSW
Scarves: Target

Have a lovely, healthy day!
