Affordable Fashion for Every Day

Bits and Pieces

The great brown cardigan in today’s outfit is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It’s warm, soft, oh so comfortable and goes with lots of other pieces in my closet. Definitely a great buy for just under $30! And the fact that I can take it off if I get a tad too warm? Priceless.

A word about my apparent obsession with Jordache Jeans. It’s not often I can find jeans that consistently fit, don’t stretch out beyond all recognition and actually flatter my every changing body. I could pay more for jeans, but then I wouldn’t be holding up my end of the frugalista code: Never pay more if you don’t have too. These jeans are under $17.00, people. Seriously? I can have a whole wardrobe of great fitting jeans in different washes and colors. What’s not to love? You may not like skinny jeans, but for me, for now, it’s what works. I do have some bootcut jeans, but when I find myself reaching for these jeans over and over it tells me they’re something special. So, my advice for today is – when you find something that works, wears well, is comfortable AND affordable (is there a “quadfecta”? If it’s not a word, it should be!) buy it. In multiple colors. You’re welcome.

Have a lovely day!
