Blue Day #4

11.7.14

Ah, Day #4. This would be a great date night outfit – and if you switch out the jeans for black pants you could wear it just about anywhere! I love the versatility of a piece like this linen sweater. Whether it’s a scarf or lots of gold (or silver!) chains it’s easy to change up the look with things you already have in your closet. It’s what being a frugalista is all about – making the most of what you already have. I’m still holding off buying too many fall and winter clothes, but I’m SO glad I bought this sweater. It will be a wardrobe staple for a long, long time.

If you have a minute, would you swing on over and check out my music site? I’ve uploaded a couple of new videos!  http://www.reverbnation.com/loriyeary

What I wore:

Blue Linen tunic sweater: TJ Maxx
Jordache ankle skinny jeans: Walmart
Black leather boots: White House Black Market
Earrings: Sample Sale
Gold chains: Charming Charlie, Sample Sale, LYDesigns

Frugally yours,

Lori

  1. I recently discovered your blog and have really enjoyed reading it. Love all the Blue Day combinations but this one is my favorite. You’ve inspired me to dig out my chains and try some different combinations!
