Style Savvy DFW

Affordable Fashion for Every Day

I liked the dark teal sleeveless shirt from Old Navy so much I went back and bought it in black! I have no doubt this will be a great transitional piece –  I’ll show you a “bridge” outfit in tomorrow’s post!

Women of a certain age have challenges that are pretty much universal. One in particular is the “personal summer” or “power surge”. I have to be honest and say I haven’t had very many of the “feel like I need to strip and jump in a vat of ice water” flashes – especially since I took my doctors advice and started on Biote hormone pellet therapy (you can learn more about it here). I don’t pretend to be an expert, but I can tell you it worked for me. No more sleepless nights, night sweats or wanting to rip someone’s head off. My memory is better and I have a lot more energy. I still get the occasional heat surge, which is why sleeveless shirts are my best friend right now. But as a whole I feel better. So. Much. Better.

I love all your comments, so please keep them coming!

If you have a minute, would you swing on over and check out my new music site?
