Hot Stuff

The last gasps of summer are going to be the death of me. Seriously. There are moments (very brief, brief moments) when a little bit cooler breeze will float by and I have hope that fall is coming. Admittedly it hasn’t been a horrible summer (not more than 5 consecutive days over 100 degrees), but it’s never been my favorite season. Except for the waterskiing. Ok, rambling over. This outfit was a nice alternative to jeans and was fairly cool for my running around day. Again, Old Navy came to my rescue with this great sleeveless shirt. It’s floaty and cool and will definitely work into fall. A great transition piece, for sure.

I love all your comments, so please keep them coming!

If you have a minute, would you swing on over and check out my new music site?

What I wore:

Olive sleeveless top: Old Navy (You can find them here and they’re on sale!)
Striped shorts: The LOFT Outlet
Aerosoles brown wedge sandals: DSW

You talk about summer in Texas like we talk about winter in March or April or May…depending on how long winter lasts!
